Well EFT is Emotional Freedom Technique and TFT is Thought Field Therapy
TFT was developed in 1981 by the now late Roger Callahan. Through over 30 years of studies, he was able to create these techniques. "When applied to problems, TFT (Thought Field Therapy) addresses their fundamental causes, providing information in the form of a healing code, balancing the body's energy system and allowing you to eliminate most negative emotions within minutes and promote the body's own healing ability." "What is TFT? Thought Field Therapy is a little known, but effective drug-free and non-invasive way to reduce or eliminate even chronic pain without the risk of medications." "It works with nature's healing system combining the acupressure meridian system and modern psychology." - Rogercallahan.com
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) was developed by Gary Craig in 1995. Over the years it has changed into different styles and techniques, but it is believed to stem from what he learned from Dr Robert Callahan; it was an important tool in the development. You are tapping on specific meridians to release stored energy.
It is an alternative form of therapy that helps with many different ailments and disorders. Anxiety, PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)and many different disorders, including weight loss issues. It is also known as psychological acupressure.
It can remove blocks or imbalances that can lead to poor health (mentally and physically). EFT is a 'one-stop-shop' tapping procedure where all points are tapped during the procedure. TFT is a more focused approach and has specific 'algorithms' or routines or individual issues.
